Improving Modem Speed
How to improve Modem speed?simple method
In windows xp start----> Control Panel-->Phone and Modem Options-->Modems---> Select one modem which you require to configure-->Properties-->Advanced--->Change Default Preferences...-->Advanced-->Hardware settings--> Normally Data bit 8 Parity none Stop bits1 modify only Parity to Odd ,1 or if you select Even then 2.
Test one of the modification and set it Permanently.
Note:Tested in USB Pen drive slow speed (which was 153.6kbps)modem.
